1.) Nylon is a plastic, so it will NOT conduct electricity – making it the preferred choice for insulation, current isolation, and use in electronic devices and appliances.
2.) Nylon is both UV and – when treated or combined with other plastics – HEAT resistant in non-severe conditions (such as cooking). Production, appliances (like dryers and dishwashers) and computers will not have an impact on Nylon.

This coloring, and any choice of finishing, will not affect the performance of the Nylon fastener – and because the color is absorbed throughout the Nylon, there will be less chipping and fading.
